This page contains a brief explanation on my retention of my old Tumblr posts, what I did (as a record), and what the title and header images were from.
My old Tumblr blog was “flickeringillusion.tumblr.com”, and it was started at a time when my professional life was getting too monotonous and I was looking for an outlet. I remembered I initially used Facebook to “blog” with longform posts, but it was too cumbersome and too limiting.
Main difference between my old Tumblr and BlogDrive posts is that I have largely left the Tumblr posts intact. Around six years between BlogDrive and Tumblr had kind of changed my approach to blogging that I have adjusted preferences by the time I resumed blogging with Tumblr. After re-reading them, I simply just copy-pasted and adjusted for minor grammar issues or typos. And also I redacted certain actual person names of non-public persuasion.
All images below were AI-generated using Microsoft CoPilot Designer in Bing. Each entry will denote what AI prompts were used to generate the images. Usually the AI generator spits out 3-4 images and I just have to pick one (save for the “6 months” posts, they were all from the same single prompt).
