This page contains a brief explanation on my retention of my old BlogDrive posts, what I did (as a record), and what the title and header images mean or were from.
The old URL was “1csb.blogdrive.com”, named after my first class section in university. I intended it to be initially a “log” of university life, but it soon covered everything in my life. And as BlogDrive’s original is now defunct, I chose to traverse both my Tumblr (I had most of 2004-06 there) and Web Archives.
Some of my BlogDrive posts around senior year to when I first started work had whimsical and “esoteric” titles. It started somewhere along when I was in senior college when I got lazy with thinking of “perfect” post titles. So I just pulled them from song lyrics or titles, of which only among the songs that appeared on my blog’s music selection. Especially lyric parts that said something that resonated.
The other older BlogDrive blog posts’ titles have even more obscure references that I don’t even remember the reason or source anymore (and some of them were also cringe), so I changed their titles in this blog incarnation to at least be consistent in the whole BlogDrive archive. And this page can show what I used to change the title.
Almost all of the blog posts’ contents have incurred minor edits – they range from replacing old equal-sign dividers into <hr>, corrected typos or grammatical mistakes, omission of cringe passages, to removal of actual person names from university days for privacy, so on. But I mostly left the meat of the blog post as is, best I could.
All images below were AI-generated using Microsoft CoPilot Designer in Bing. Each entry will denote what AI prompts were used to generate the images. Usually the AI generator spits out 3-4 images and I just have to pick one.
