I have a fascination when it comes to airports.
The fascination stems from the airport being a reflection of what the country is. It’s their first crack at a favorable “first impression” from a traveller, whether they are there for tourism or for a layover. And so, I always expected airports to be pulling out all the stops at making a very good experience out of it.
I am writing this blog as I am awaiting my flight at Changi Airport in Singapore. It’s the airport always described in many a review site as the “premier” airport in Southeast Asia, if not all of Asia. It is truly impressive, such as that you’ll have to really stretch yourself to look for flaws. It is like a massive entertainment complex that happened to be also an airport. Its latest centerpiece is called “Jewel”, boasting unbelievable amenities for its discerning visitors, and a massive waterfall in its midst…
