Well… that was almost a month of no-blogging session. But well, I had some ranting to unwind.
So, iku yo!
Well, earlier we had a b***h of a professor. Around 11:00 AM today.
And no, it wasn’t one of my subject professors. I think it was one from the other side of the Engineering building. She told us that the Dean’s Office told her that room 50 was available for her use to hold an exam. The problem is, room 50 is OUR room. And we are occupying it, we are to use it, and we don’t give a stomping damn if she has no room (though we would have given way if she asked us courteously). The worse problem is, she talks the way American niggers do trash talking. That is not right. She even demands the use of the room, not request it, saying she cannot delay her exams. Talk about dominatrixes.
Yeah, I think it’s the gentlemanly way to give way to ladies. but that professor doesn’t have the demeanor of a lady. So, it would be unfair to us gentlemen otherwise. Most women demand equality, but if them themselves don’t give men their due, well, there is a problem. We give courtesy, we expect the same courtesy in return. No one-way in my book.
If that professor tries to verbally bitchslap my class again, there will be hell to pay, count on my words.
So far, I’m watching a few anime titles:
Kannazuki no Miko
Lucky Star
Claymore
Death Note
Busou Renkin
Negima!?
Higurashi Naru no Koro Ni
Well, here’s my 100 cents on these titles:
Kannazuki no Miko… well, it is an obvious yuri anime. But later I’ll explain why I watch this.
Lucky Star… yeah~ This is currently my favorite anime series. I’m already on Episode 15. I definitely would recommend this series. It’s funny, funny, and real funny. Some jokes are subtle, but if you’re an otaku, you’ll be ROTFL as well. The ending songs are also way way laughing stuff, since it’s also funny hearing the seiyuus have a parody of some j-pop (like Zard’s) and anime songs from FMP!F, Dragonball Z and Doraemon. Episode 13 onwards will feature Minoru Shiraishi singing on a rocky beach to acapella and really wacky tunes.
Oh, also the 5-minute “Lucky Channel” segment. I realllllllyyyyy liked Akira-sama there, she was like pulling off this double personality thing. Which is like “nya~” and “NYEEEHHHHHRRR?”.
Recommended is that one. Lucky Star is ~kakkoii. To view here, click the link:

Death Note. While the shinigami played the Hollywood style killjoy role at the last episode, the anime was also cool. But I would have preferred it more if the anime stayed with using Nightmare’s songs instead of Maximum the Hormone’s.
Negima!? was also quite entertaining. The yuri angles are starting to poke out. Some un-manga angles also appear. Anyway, this is an Akamatsu-approved series, so I’ll expect them to twist the anime. I just hope they don’t disfigure this one.
Busou Renkin. Typical anime tsundere girl. Typical anime ending, teary-eyed sequences and lonely-girl syndrome. But… it’s great at the end. Especially the last 3 episodes.
Oh, the last one, Higurashi. This is something you have to shield your little siblings and your parents from. Don’t be fooled by the cute characters. Though I loved the anime comedy parts, there are some parts where it would all go bloody. Bloodier than Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”. As in some psychotic anime sequence. It would really go down in blood and tragedy, except the last part of course. But, if you want something gory and different, oh well you may.
For the past few weeks I’ve been trying to steer my classmate Cathy to the pit of fujoshi-ness. You may ask “fujoshi… what??”.
Kore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujoshi
Well, I’ve been recommending lots of my own collection to her, but I have some specific category in mind… no, two… no, three. And she refuses it, but I know I’m inches away from pushing her to that pit. HAHAHAHAHA…*blerk*
Here’s the list:
Gakuen Heaven
Gravitation
Descendants of Darkness
Loveless
Sukisho
Maria-sama ga Miteiru
Kannazuki no Miko
Strawberry Panic
Bakuretsu Hunter
Tokyo Babylon
Kashimashi
Simoun
Hayate Cross Blade
Yami to Boshi to Hon no Tabibito
Princess Princess
Yep. Most are in the yuri-yaoi section. hehe.
I have all of those anime series. You see, I’m a liberal anime fan to an extent. Which means, I don’t give a damn if I watch yaoi or yuri or shojo-ai or loli or bishonen or romance or comedy as long as the anime is of decent and good quality. Story first, art second, characters third. But never on the other well-known Japanese side, something like the extreme ecchi case.
So, going back to line, I’ve been urging her to watch, but she denies my every attempt. When I let slip that I might put some DVDs in her bag secretly some time, she kinda freaked out at the notion of having a yaoi-yuri anime in her bag, so she now guards her bag even though I already told her it was a joke.
I just can’t resist to tease somebody who says she doesn’t want yuri or yaoi. Like the usual “Ogiue” character from the manga series Genshiken. If a person says she doesn’t want this genre, deep down they really want a peek. So I’m like the one who gets out their deepest desires. This is the only thing my friends somehow don’t like with me. In high school I successfully exposed a ton of my friends who said they don’t like anime porn but little by little I managed them to confess they have watched more than 10 titles. Hehe. That’s how devious I am. But I won’t go personal. Just a bit teasing on good friends.
So, I hope I can manage to turn my friend Cathy to an extreme fujoshi.,
*voice booming, yamato nadeshiko style* FUJOSHI NO MICHI!
I mean, my classes are usually on the afternoons, from 1 PM to 8 PM. I get home around 9:30 PM. And sleeping time sometimes vary too. When I wake up, I have something to do like clean house or do chores.
Well, to say the least my hiatus for June 30 to July 20 was due to some thing I would call exhaustion.
The break hours are something I couldn’t use for blogging. I would just plop down somewhere and doze off.
Now I had some free time and I’m loaded with coffee power, I can blog again.
And somehow I’m adjusted to this college life. I just wish I graduate next year.
Currently at home we now have a new laptop and a new DSL connection.
But I couldn’t use it at many times. My sister is addicted to it like the computer was cocaine or crack. She’ll use it non-stop for some time, and she really digs in it. Like random IM, e-mail, chat, browse, and the like. And until the wee morning hours she is still gung-ho at using the laptop with DSL connection. It blows me off my socks to see her turboheat the computer off 😛
Damn. While I’m watching her, it’s like she’s digging her own hole. Hope she don’t drag me in it.
Ok then. Ciao for now!
