Hah. Beautiful reprieves.

This week marks the UST College of Engineering’s “100 Years” of existence, from 1907 to 2007. Way older than University of the Philippines as a whole.

So, the professors are quite the generous flippers this week. Yesterday, none showed up! Yay. But I have to get home as fast as possible to have a haircut and do my Visual Basic project. So far the project’s about 40% done (I did it in a week) and I have to push the 60% remainder up these two weeks remaining. Time budgeting… weak point.

But at least while I’m doing it, my ears are on a paradise rollercoaster. You know, still on music. But while the barber’s snipping on my hair, *this may sound funny* but my mp3 player’s on a “Random DJ” mode, and it played AAA’s “Bomb A Head!”. What a song for a barber’s customer.

Anyway, on to another music round… and a new artist.

VIORED [ mini-album :: “Chaos” ]

Well, another recent J-rock/V-Kei band. But what a repertoire sound they produce. Not much on the originality side *there’s WWAAAYYY too many of them up there especially in Danger Crue* but they’re good to the point I liked them the same way I liked Gazette and SID on the very first song I heard from them. Like love at first hear, right?

Sidenote: My friend Chizuru-kei told me that they somehow look like Gazette minus Reita. There’s nobody in there that has a cool nosecover. Good point.

I first liked “Taion”. It doesn’t have enough of the Dir en Grey-style riffs and any loud screeches, but the arrangement and the vocals would compensate for it. If you look at my mp3 rotation, since I really liked this song, I immediately put it up for grabs. And it’s 10/10.

I’ve been downloading D.GrayMan manga chapters all week long, and it’s really good.
