I just uploaded my new homepage at Freewebs. Like a fork at the road.

http://www.freewebs.com/albert_22/ (EDITOR NOTE: deactivated)

The picture I had there was from GLAY’s single collaboration with Kyosuke Himuro, “Answer”. I liked the single cover, so I decided to use it there. But the credits go to the guys.

Wowww~ 4shared recently increased their “FREE” account size to 1024 MB, or roughly 1 GB! I’m uploading a bunch this week.

So far, I’m really on the ups for Gazette, Alice Nine, and SID. Their current music wave and sounds are really keeping me enthralled – wait, was that a deep word?

But now, I would like to include Psycho le Cemu and CreatureCreature to my “endless-ear-music-loop” tendency now. XD Psycho le Cemu recently had this “Best of”, which some tracks really caught my ear. Including CC’s *hey, I coined this nickname* album, “Light and Lust” which Gail-neechan uploaded for me at the forums *thanks!!*, which is also very very good.

J-rock really keeps me tuned in. XD

I’m really aghast at how GMA7 blatantly plugs their friggin’ TV shows in their evening news.

Just yesterday, their TV evening news service “24 Oras” *translation: 24 hours* plugged in at least two shows. First, their f–kingly sad version of an old movie, entitled “Bakekang”, which would not appear in any logical dictionary, but would definitely show up in “…for Dummies” books. Hey, I’m not against the show. It could be a great show, you know. But the way GMA7 peddles the show like the typical Filipino sorbetero ice cream smorgasborg would definitely disgrace the whole show. Especially if GMA7 continually plugs in the show at the evening news. I would rather watch CNN all day.

Second, at the end of the news reel, the anchor, most usually Mike “Captain Barbell na po!” Enriquez plugs in a show about a superhero that uses a “barbell” to prop himself up. Talk about weirdness. Now this is a show that is as worse as ABS-CBN’s “Super Inggo”, which is as equally preposterous as its name sounds.

GMA7 sure deserves a good shaking. No other good evening news service does this type of bulls–t. Oh, and by the way, my dad just made a good point. The aforementioned shows are in the “primetime” slots, so GMA7 primetime executives, after smoking a lot of hashish, decided to plug their shows in a place it isn’t supposed to be shown. And, it’s really bad. Dame.

That’s why I don’t watch GMA7 after 7:30 PM.

So far, my favorite PBA team, Barangay Ginebra, is shaking its roster up really hard.

First off, Ginebra got the services of one of the most premier coaches in the league, Jong Uichico.

Second, they got a huge trade from Coca-Cola through a three-way trade (the third party was Air21), which resulted in a huge addition in their roster in Rafi Reavis, Billy Mamaril, and the rights to Rudy Hatfield (which currently signed a one-year contact with them). They, though, let go four players (Ramos, Ferreria, Sotto and Dimaunahan) and their first and second-round draft picks in the 2006 Rookie Draft.

Lastly, they acquired, in my opinion, a “sleeper” in Chico Lanete, a standout in the PBL amateur league, but was undrafted in the draft. In addition, they got at least two new other players (*), which could just be a stand-in until Helterbrand and Santos get out from sick bay.

It looks good, but these moves are in for the long-term, and we’ll see if the Kings played the right cards.

Ahh… I kinda missed my Physical Education class days.

Since I’m now in third-year college, I’m not allowed to take PE classes anymore. The only good thing is that I don’t have to squeeze in more time in my tight schedule.

The PEs I had in UST were:

1. Fitness – this class was particularly like a sweating class. I had to bring two towels, a pair of dumbells, a CD of hip-hop dance music, and two bottles of 500ml mineral water to consume every hour. But I liked this class because it enabled me to lose some weight. But it’s indoors, so good.

2. Sepak Takraw – I especialy liked this class because I put this class in 7AM – 9AM, the most ideal hours to have a PE class because it’s morning, and the sun isn’t friggin’ hot yet. And the professor is very accomodating for poor ball-kickers like me.

3. Softball – And the bad one, at the most. Outdoors, 9AM – 11AM, and the professor is a tightass. We had to chase and throw balls, catch and run like hell. But this particular PE made me lose more pounds than Fitness class.

4. Social Dance – Tango, Cha-cha, freestyle, and that’s social dance. The most chaotic PE I had, and the last one at that. At least I gained some necessary social skills.

Ya~ and my only remaining regret is that I wasn’t able to take up Basketball. Those f–king administrators are unfair in terms of scheduling, and the result is that the first college scheduled takes up almost all the goodies. Ya~da.

For now, ciao! XD
