OK, so there’s the brakes now. The big “PRELIM EXAM” sign up in the sky. So, for the next 5 days or so, it would still be the writing on the wall.

I just recently transferred my whole mp3 rotation operations (and 100% of files) to 4shared.com. It’s great that it’s always there, with 500MB to boot. No bandwidth problems. And I can control my files.

But, as usual, drawbacks appear out of nowhere.

1. If nobody downloads files after 30 days, wallah! It’s all going to internetherworld.
2. Only one person can download only one file at a time. So that eliminates “two-people-downloading-the-same-song-problem”, but it kinda makes a virtual queue.
3. -nah. I just want to insert a third.

But overall, it’s a good choice for a mp3 service transfer. There’s 18 songs to boot. Anytime, anywhere.

PPS: Even though I’m rotating these files, I still strongly urge anybody who’s interested (and with enough cash to boot), please… support original artists!

PPPS: If you want to access all downloadables (after I remove Rotation 1) from past to future (yes, I upload 24 songs a week, kinda like advance, 12 songs this week, 12 songs after), um… I would think of that like a “prize” later on. Like I post a quiz and answer it all right, I’ll allow you all downloads. Plus links to where there’s more. Hehe. But, it’s just an idea, so it will be on hold.

I just recently listened to “Other side of the Moon” from the album “Weiss Kreuz Best Album Die Bleibende Soundtrack”, and it was kinda… um… reminding. Like Castlevania soundtracks, or a suspense-horror-thriller type of theme, but it’s arranged OK. Currently it’s on meh mp3 player. *imitates Roddy Piper* I kinda liked it. Heh.

I just recently downloaded Orange Range’s latest album, “Squeezed”. I thought it would be as radical as their previous albums like “musiQ” or “Natural”, but this is, a bit of “sadly”, is a remix album.

The album contains a LOT of their previous music, mixed and re-mixed by them, and repackaged as a wholly new product.

I’m still evaluating it (one song a day), and so far only one made quite a good impression to my ears.

Just was listening to Orange Range’s “Kirikirimai” (Cherry blossom Front Mix). It’s bubblegum-poppy with that slightly twang edge, like when they used tweaky sound effects to recreate “kirikirimai” at the first intros, I liked it. Hehe. I keep re-hashing that song on my Sonic Foundry music editor.

If I liked the entirety of it, probably by August it would be in my posession.

OK, so freeloading on these would help some steam off this summer. But our local weather bureau said that La Nina will come sooner than expected. So, savor summer in RP for it would probably wouldn’t last very long. Hehe.
