Yeah. The mp3 page will be updated shortly this afternoon or tomorrow, whichever could be done first.

I was in a foul mood yesterday morning. Not from the incessant noise of rallyists. It’s because of my dad.

I woke up to the phone’s ringing. Vher John, one of my high school best friends, called me to now if I was interested in joining Israel’s(another best friend) town fiesta at SSS Housing at Fairview. Of course I said yes. But my dad was near to spoil my entire day.

He flatly said no shortafter I put down the phone (Vher John said he would call me later again). I thought he was in another one of those “bad-side-of-bed” morings again. I didn’t even asked his permission before he said no. But the jackass that is, sadly, my dad, said no. Probably he had one of those delusions that his only son would join the activists, or he would get into some otherworldly accidents, say, a freak case of alien abduction, or be trampled by a rampaging group of rolling giant onions, but I know enough that if my dad says no, it stays as is. Even if I protest and air a very good case, he would still make a very good imitation of Simon Cowell. He’s honest. My dad would make a bad politician, I think.

But I was pissed. I did not eat breakfast. At lunch, I hurriedly ate my part and excused myself as fast as I could (they were just about 1/4 of their meal when I was done), and at dinner, the same.

He even had the gall to ask me for coffee that afternoon. What a tightass. I thought he knew me as I am, but I was sad to know that he doesn’t still know his own son’s personality.

I only hope he gets stung in the ass by a bee someday. Hehe.

My SNME went OK, but I changed some movies and anime durng that night.

OMFG. I found a better host to my mp3s. Like shouting “Yatta zo” about 4 times. There’s 4shared.

I’ll post some songs there this week. So that everybody can still download even if my schedule suddenly fluctualtes and I can’t add more as often as I could.

But, as usual, rules do apply.

My little sis and my other sis are addicted to cappucino shakes. Currently, and I hope, they get something out of drinking two glasses everyday.

My summer classes are currently going my way.

Most of my exams are great, beyond my own expectations. So, I hope the trend continues and I can keep this up. My confidence went up significantly, my morale is definitely upbeat and my hopes are nearing its potential to become reality.

My remaining job is to keep this up and not let myself get too cocky. That would be bad. hehe.

But, as usual, my parents are like the typical “generous” types, but if I fail, expect the generous word will turn into “vultures”. Swooping down and eating my own carcass.

Yesterday, May 1, 2006, the Philippines (particularly Manila) had a “bad air” day.

Even if the rallyists were just a tad short of “many”, their stupid clamors kept me a little “off” that day.

I really mean it. A bad air day. I hope the world is constantly watching our country’s slow demise. No, we’re probably not far off from North Korea’s problems nor Cambodia’s, but the Philippines is transforming from a Chaplin comedy to a Shakesperean tragedy.

The air was expletive-inducing, especially when you see activists and rallying asswipes carrying badly-made placards marching across the streets. It’s a bad sight to see. If the Department of Tourism are looking for reasons why tourists do not come near Metro Manila, they don’t have to look very far and hard.

I have nothing against these pandemonium instigators. I’m not even a pro or anti-GMA (Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo), but their very actions are unbecoming of a civilized society, much more for each of them unbecoming of a civilized human being. I definitely have to chuckle to myself seeing them on the streets. It’s like seeing a herd of sheep without their fleece.

First, I do know the reality of this country I am living in right now.

1. I know that GMA is f**king this country straight up the ass. She’s ducking issues, she’s pissing everyone in the opposition off, she fakes her smiles, and she doesn’t give a damn on how to fix her own problems. She’s applying Band-Aid to wounds that evidently needed stitches. Heck, she’s even afraid of her own army. She pisses on her pants everytime a rumour of a coup from the army reaches her ears. She’s worse than Zimbabwe’s President Mugabe.

2. I know that this country’s democracy has been a failure. The politicians has done very little to alleviate poverty in this country. They only seek cures to problems, not preventive solutions. They dine on caviar and truffles while most of my countrymen struggle every day just to eat a single can of sardines.

3. I know that the brain drain in this country is getting worse. Many doctors and nurses, disillusioned by the lack of employment and the dismal amount of their wages here, pack their bags and join the caregiver-export bandwagon.

OK, so let’s get to my point: I AM SICK AND TIRED of what is happening in this country right now. I hate to see the politicians hurling s**t at each other, destroying the morals and the character of this nation. And, most of all, I see that this particular day, dubbed the “Labor Day” holiday, is used by power-hungry jackasses to promote their twisted and egocentric ideals. All of the problems are running around causing mayhem, and the rallyists are making it even worse.

I think that the rallyists have a point in some of their arguments that I agree to, but they are blind and oblivious to the fact that they are making things more sick than ever. The rallyists claim to be the voice of the nation, the real fighters of this country’s freedoms and each citizen’s rights, even mine. I have two words for them: F**K YOU.

They think that their minority is the majority. But the present fault is their own creation. Did they see that? No. Did they even admit their own mistakes? NO. They do not admit their own mistake at creating this heck of trouble, so they are clearly hypocrites. No doubt about that. They ask for true leadership, rightful government ideals, better wages and prompt justice. Nothing bad of what they are asking for, but the way they ask for it is the point. It’s like going to a seedy restaurant, grabbing the waiter violently by the collar and asking for a better steak to go with the wine.

They are blinded by misplaced rage and deafened by misdirected ideals.

This problem heightened when GMA admitted calling a COMELEC official during the 2004 elections. We do not know what the real motives are despite GMA pathetically asking for public forgiveness, but the activists and the opposition party smelled blood, and like the proverbial shark, wanted to go for the kill. What happened was an endless flow of rallies, protests, news clips of opposition whinings, and lots of shenanigans that made every political observer sick to their stomach.

I do not wish to provoke some ass-kissing activist nor inspire indifference to this country’s problems, but I think that marching to the streets is not the answer to these problems. I also think that charter change is neither a viable solution to poverty. Both sides are doing the wrong things at the worst possible times, and we, the silent masses, are the silent sufferers of the fracas that is currently happening.

The rallyists are sucking Joseph Estrada’s candy cane, and the funny fact is, they’re even happily doing it to the man they “deposed” about 4 years ago. Talk about irony. They are playing the opposition’s chess game against the administration.

I would like to ask them WHO in the hell would they install in office if they sucessfully dethrone GMA. Who? Tito Sotto? Kit Tatad? Noli De Castro? Jinggoy Estrada? Susan Roces? Or, God forbid, Erap again? Hell would break loose.

Where were these activists at the last 2004 elections? Where? If you can go back into time, you can see that they are actively campaigning for their own inclusion into Congress. They are sitting somewhere, some probably puffing cigarettes or drinking some cheap liquor while tolerating these traditional politicians to campaign for this country’s “future”. They did nothing, and some even had the gall to mock some few people campaigning not for public office but for the people’s awareness of how to vote wisely. Now, see the “rallyists” in their true colors.

They keep rallying without a definitive reason and a visualized effect of what they will cause. S**t. GMA is screwing us badly, the rallyists are screwing us worse. Damn.

They sabotage this country, inch after every inch. The EDSA revolution is now reduced to a mere heap of cow manure fertilizer. The silent masses are working hard every day, paying their due taxes, helping their community, establishing what this government cannot offer, trying to improve this country’s health further, promoting better spiritual health, even if it takes a lifetime just to achieve it. But what these group of crapmunchers are clamoring for this government’s demise, and continues to make this country suffer more to just prove their point. With that, they are actually dragging the Philippines deeper down into hell.

But GMA is also partly to blame for this problem. If she had been “clean” in the first place, e.g. keeping her fat husband out of the political picture, never calling any COMELEC commissioner at election time, not faking her smiles, keeping her own image in check, never making promises she could not keep, and so on, she wouldn’t be in this scalding heat right now.

There may be signs, but signs tell us that something is coming.

I do not like GMA, but I don’t like the rallyists either.
