Probably I have some penchant over reality TV shows.

SCHEDULE OF REALITY SHOWS THAT I WATCH

Monday: 10 PM – The Apprentice
Tuesday: 10 PM – The Apprentice: Martha Stewart
Wednesday: 7 PM – Iron Chef ; 9 PM – Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Thursday: 8 PM – Amazing Race : Family Edition
Friday: 8 PM – Survivor: Guatemala

When nighttime comes about, I flip my remote control and lie the whole night watching these. Of course, i know that I have my own schedule in school that demands I should be attending classes at 7, so I have to sleep as soon as the show ends.

Then I sleep at my classes. Some of them, of course.

Somebody asked me yesterday if I play DotA. That means “Defense of the Ancients”, I think.

Many of my ENG-COMSCI classmates in ex-CSB and CSA rush outside after classes to spend some extra allowance on playing DotA on the nearest and cheapest computer gaming rental shops in UST, most notoriously-named “Mother of Star” and “E-Spot”.

I answered that person, YES. But, strings attached.

FIRST: My personal policy in university is that I made a personal oath that I will never goof off playing computer games. I consider playing “DotA” as goofing off. So, I play after I change clothes – at home. You can see me at the nearest computer shops near our home, playing with some friends. I’m not playing near school.

Inasmuch as I want to play, I have money, yes, but I’d rather spend it at home rather than here at UST. Exorbitant computer rental fees. Yech. Near our home is only half of theirs.

Why do I do this? At HighSchool I played too much CounterStrike that I sometimes went absent, or worse, grades plummeting. I got the tongue-lashing of my life. So I’d take a 3 rather than a 5.

SECOND: Allowance. Yes, I only live on P150 per day, or roughly $3. And I have at least half of it to spend on my needs, e.g. food, or anime/JPop CDs. If I divert some of that into computer gaming, it will be reduced significantly.

I’m currently saving some cash for a copy of Orange Range’s latest album, Natural. So if I use some of that accumulated cash for something like DotA, It’ll be on jeopardy.

OK, so I had my CWTS sectioning today done. I’m in K2, #13.

But the biggest pain in the ass right now is that they actually had the “initiative” , I should say, to put up a “grouping” activity, specifically, to form our group (we’re all in the same college building) of 10 and pass it to the NSTP coordinator’s office at any time TODAY, November 25, 2005.

How in the friggin’ hell would we group ourselves? I only have these peoples’ names, not their sections and respective courses. Do you expect each and every one of us to be standing at the ENG gate and belch out these peoples’ names like retarded hyenas, being complete strangers, and ask them , people who we barely know, to be our groupmates? Of course, bloody hell, NO.

They have a problem with their announcement.

And also, I have not seen anybody named as K’s adviser. How in the holy hell would we do the grouping if we don’t have the adviser, aka facilitator?

* SIDENOTE: I see K sections have no predefined activity on the bulletin board outside the Main Bldg. I see. Lack of actions lead to lack of receptions in this one.

I just wished I took up ROTC instead.

Now I’m contemplating on who will have the gall to gather themselves in K sections and form a group of 10. Being complete strangers to most of these people, have no clues except names and the college they are in.

I’m also wondering what drastic actions will they do if relatively few of these sections come up with groupings. I suggest they do the same action they did at the online course in CWTS: random grouping. It’s simply MUCH MUCH MUCH easier than what they posted.

LINKAGES. I rarely do this nowadays, but it’s kinda fun to do again.

OK, that’s enough. *stops laughing and wheezing*
