Soon Everything Will Reach The Sky

This was imported from my old
BlogDrive blog posts.

Uh-huh. So the Unforgiven PPV at Oklahoma wasn’t that much fantastic. Good to watch, yes. But there’s a thin line between something good and something better.

First off, Kurt Angle won against John Cena. Wo-hoo. But it’s a DQ, folks. Sorry to hear about that. So the very historical (and still spinning) WWE championship is still in John Cena’s hands.

The others were just a good line too. Ric Flair filled up his resume of titles won, Big Show had the upper hand against Snitsky, the Diva bitches went into a “Punch-Kick-Yell-Shout-and-Repeat” match, Hurricane and Rosey fell into the “I-idolize-JR’s-cowboy-hat” duo of Murdoch and Cade, and the gory Steel Cage match between a very pissed Matt Hardy and Edge, which Hardy won.

But what made me laugh was Kerwin White’s match against Shelton Benjamin. I dunno if the WWE wanted the former Chavo Guerrero to pose as a “cool” middle-class American Caucasian, with his new-signature golf club, green jacket, and blonde hair, and all that bullshit talk, but his voice was authentic Latino, his face still looks like Chavo Classic, and he still cheats like Eddie Guerrero. The WWE could have advised Kerwin White to go to Beverly Hills and do that Michael Jackson makeover.

Shawn Michaels still is the Heartbreak Kid, folks, even though he had the record of being the fastest one in the WWE to change from a fan favorite to a fan villain to a fan favorite again. And this time the Masterpiece looked like a bent toothpick.

The Unforgiven match is over, folks. I’ll watch it again at Solar / Jack TV and wait for the next one, No Mercy. The main match will be against Eddie Guerrero versus Batista. I think it will be like Brock vs. Eddie result once again. Remember, Brock Lesnar is as big and athletic as Batista.

Due to my hectic schedule, and I do have rare time to loaf at home,  I am not able to watch MTV for some time. So I grabbed some refreshments from the fridge. I grabbed the Tortillos chips from the snack basket above the ref, and grabbed some leftover corned beef at the table. I just watched, and watched, and watched, until my eyes grew tired. I started at my favorite show, Pimp My Ride. It’s the show where XZibit visits some lucky unlucky-with-a-car dude or gal and interviews him/her about how the car got whooped like that, takes it to West Coast Customs, and gives it some good ol’ nigger pimpin’.

I kinda liked the middle part where they start the Cinderella-style changing of the car from a Junkyard Heap to a Cool Hip, and the wacky misadventures of the WC crew. It’s SO much better than watching Maverick and Ariel at the local ABC5 channel.

And I BETTER liked to look at the owner’s faces and their reactions after seeing their pimped-up ride. Like “Wohoo!!” , “Aww, man!!” , “Is that my car?!?” , “F**K! That’s my car?!?” , and so more of their country yodelling. rating: 10 over 10.

Then it was to listen to some music at MTV Play. Then, it was a replay of the MTV Movie Awards 2005.

I really noticed how MTV really tries to get under the skin of the Academy Award makers. First off, they make these weird awards like “Best Kiss” , “Best Frightened Performance” and the like. Second, they give the winners a trophy that they appropriately call “the Golden Popcorn”. Third, the artists REALLY liked to attend the wacky awards show, unlike the Raspberries, which is just an off-colored humour. Fourth, their host is a wacky, crazy, demented Jimmy Fallon, who did a very good jab at the Star Wars “Obi-Wan & Anakin” part. And at the awards the big-name actors and actresses don’t have to war those stupidly-tailored dresses, those see-throughs, those gowns, those waiter suits, and the like. The actors can wear anything they want at the MTV movie awards.

Bottom line: Informality is what the stars really like the most. Rating: 10 out of 10.

Then it was time to watch a VideoCity rented VCD. It’s a Tom Hanks movie called “the Terminal”.

Resti did lend me the FMP!Fumoffu episode CDs. Yay. Now I can try to complete my collection. Kenneth also gave me six episodes of the LATEST Full Metal Panic series: FMP!The Second Raid. It was cool and funny, and good. I also noticed that it has some WOWOW plug-ins, hinting that the episode was probably aired by them.

Gomen ne! *T_T* I can’t still upload mp3s. I’ll try to devise a way to upload mp3s this week. Sorry for the two-week layoff! *sniffs* *snorts* *rants at the ICS2 lab computer connection*

There’s a Calculus exam due tomorrow, so I’ll be off for now. Ciao!
