Wo-hoo. Things just gets really tough after the preliminaries.

First off, I am on the edge of spending my summerdays in UST after I saw my horrendous grades in my PHYS104Lec and Laboratory, my ICSLec, Math (though I made 60%, passing grade), and that’s all. But I need to rebound, grade-speaking. BIG-TIME. I want my summer as is, without any strings attached to it.

This is the first time in my life to see such big blows in my academic grade since…um..I think in High School and Grade School I didn’t have any big problems. So, this is my real first taste of a licking in university. Sure, now I feel that I’m really in the big leagues. Welcome to college, neophyte.

So now, I pledge to myself to devote more time to study.

My studying habit is very unique. I play some soothing songs in my bedroom, medium loudness, and I study. The music isn’t a big distraction at all, because it helps in my retaining memory of what I learnt. Funny thing is, I memorized big chunks of subjects while listening to BGMs like “Immoral Rhythm”, a FF background made by Nobuo Uematsu, “Ride On Shooting Star”, a FLCL OST, “Eyes On Me (Japanese Version)”, and others. My mother greatly disapproved of this study method, but my High School records show that it’s at least effective. Parents do live in the 60’s. Heh.

I suggest you all visit www.squarenation.com , a site providing some very tasteful FF mp3s. I downloaded all of them, using a good DSL connection. Oh, if you’re in Dial-Up, wait in March for my MP3 download site, Dial-Up and DSL friendly. I’ll post my favorite mp3s there for grabs, so just wait. If you can’t download it from the link I provided above ya.

The thesis projects are plain HELL. At least I evaded an additional one by borrowing P500 from Kenneth D., and P500 from mom (Kenneth’s money will be due next week) for my PHIST lakbay-aral in Corregidor. Ba-boom!

GUNDAM SEED previews for ABS-CBN watchers:

  • Lacus now is a fugitive after helping an alleged *spy* that is actually a Kira in a handsome ZAFT Red Pilot uniform (the Earth alliance’s Pilot uniforms do really SUCK). She’s a big morale booster for all the PLANT soldiers, so that’s why Chairman Zara was so mad (also at her father, Sigel Klein). She’ll reappear sometime in the 40’s, as a reformist with different fashion statements. So much for being a gal with lots of flair.
  • Cagalli (ABS wrongly dubbed her name as in the Japanese dub Kagari) Yula Attha, now in the midst of a big war between the big developing country ORB and Muruta Azrael’s vain Earth Forces, has her eyes on both Kira and Athrun, both very genial gentlemen and men of few words, handsome and fit for the ORB princess. But one will be cut between the both of them in Cagalli’s Intimate Love Circle, see the pivotal Episode 40. But don’t expect any violent things.
  • Now that both the Freedom and the Justice units are in the house, let’s see the tag team of Kira and Athrun kick some serious butt as independent forces (with Archangel and ORB Kusanagi, Episode 41) against war.  You can see them in action at today’s (2-10-05) show, and at 39 onwards.
  • You’re probably wonderin’ why Natarle Badgiruel, the by-the-rules second commander of Archangel, has been destined to. See after 41.
  • You can evidently see that the former ZAFT pilot Dearka Elthmann has the hots for the Archangel CIC Milliaria, the girlfriend of the dead pilot Tohru. Also, she has the soft spot for the lonely ZAFT POW. But, do you expect anything? See later episodes.
