BGM: [Cruel Angel Thesis] by Yoko Takahashi

Haah. Sepak takraw classes at UST seems to be an exhausting one, even if all you have to do is kick the friggin’ ball in a fancy way. And I just managed a tad over 2. If only it didn’t disallow the elbows to be used. Sheesh.

PE in UST is good. They have a variety of PE courses to choose from, and, it’s good enough for sports-minded people like us. The only hitch they put up there is “folk dancing”. Is that even a sport? Nah. But mostly, it’s all about landing a good professor, like Prof. Porto, who dishes out good, reasonable grades to us deserving ball-kickers.

I’m enjoying it, because this is the first time that I have to choose my PE class. Unlike in DPS, who just enforces what they like (or just their whims) and let the students rot in a very steamy hell. Except volleyball, basketball and badminton, of course, practical sports.

Now, the PBA just reinstated the f**king Asi Taulava to suit up for the Phone Pals in the ongoing Philippine Cup Finals against Barangay Ginebra, my team.

Those guys suck. I mean, the ones who allowed Asi to play. Look, guys, the friggin’ player has a mother who can’t speak any native Filipino dialect, has questionable documents, her mother’s birth place disowns her, has no records in the provincial vicinity either, and, is ultimately, really in a tight spot. Money reigns in our corrupted political society. As long as you have the cash, the rest goes in a flash. I wonder if they found a judge who has “TRO’s for sale” outside his courtroom. If not, well, how lucky of them to find an honest one.

And though the prick lost his composure and old ferocity, scoring only a mediocre 6 points, the Gin Kings lost the match. But, the good news is, the game result is unofficial, since Allan Caidic (team manager of Ginebra) declared that they will put the game under protest. Which means, win or lose, the game still isn’t unofficially won by TNT. If Asi REALLY is proved to be a real alien, sent off to Tonga by foot, the game is waved off, shoot the game into the trash can.

If Asi succeeds, then, DaVonn Harp and company will go to teh same judge and ask for TRO’s.

Now, in other things to come…

I’m still in the process of collecting my favorite anime CDs. The ones at Greenhills and P. Noval are true quality, with correct subtitling, DVD-copy, very visible, and excellent ones at that, but with the quality comes the price. One is at P70, buy-5-take-1, while the other one at Greenhills is buy-5-take-2 at P100 each. There’s also another anime shop at Dapitan, buy-3-for-100 only. But the copies are mediocre. I only got a lucky HQ copy at the 3 CDs I bought there. So, it’s a game of chance if their “testing TV set” is at malfunction level.

Currently I have more than 20 CDs, with Chrno Crusade (compete), Love Hina (10 CDs more), Excel Saga (complete), Gundam SEED (5 CDs more), Full Metal Panic-Fumoffu (15 Ep + 2 special unaired eps), and I want more to gear up for the long summer vacation. It’s like a hibernating bear season. If they hibernate, they stock up large amounts of body fat to serve as back-up for the season of torture. And so, I must collect more. Currently, I’m buying 6 CDs per 1 1/2 week, for my allowance is too frugal (at 100 a day). At that rate, probably, I’ll end up with a good collection for the long, long days to be at summer. BUT if I fail a subject, summer goes KAPUT.

I must not fail PHYSICS…I must not…

The links, baby. The links! Whoosh!

Eh. No more.
