Yatta zo!
Hmmm…I’m still on my new HA-4 web design, so there’s nothin’ much in store for me this day except loof off, go to church, loof off, eat, loof off, watch WWE, loof off, ehhh…
Except that I’m in a PC shop right now sorting out Negima! scanlations in my 1asp accounts.
Please bear with my webpage design for a little while more…the new design’s gonna be up in 3 weeks, 3 days if UST will suspend operations for a week. If I see, it’ll be up and runnin’.
I promise it’ll look better than this. Betcha.
Do anyone believe that we shoulda be angry at a person’s “bad side” only?
The new print of the student newspaper is already up for grabs in my old high school. The same look, but definitely a different feeling.
It’s good, with the pace it’s going, with RV at the helm (I was Associate Editor back then, and RV is the Editor in Chief, though I’m his senior and just a subbie, that’s how good he was) and his merry band of new and old journalist cohorts. RV won some other prizes, though. It’s great we did it early and gave him that Editor position in the first place, for experience when we seniors are gone and out. We might have been the walls that kept his creative juices like a dam, and when we graduated, it flowed with reckless abandon. Good job, RV. Congratulations and good work. You deserve all the accolades now.
But, I must comment on these:
1. I definitely REGRET giving that dork’s kin a grade higher than 0 to be included in the roster. Definitely, infinitely, absolutely. Regrets come in the end, it seems.
2. I noticed some typographical errors in the newspaper, like uncapitalized letters and vice versa, inconsistent paragraph indentation, and redundant phrases. Also, an article in the literary pages that is very…um…what’s the euphemism for it… “disturbing”. The author probably watched “Bruce Almighty” a gazillion times and didn’t get the lesson either.
3. Some of the article sentences lacked commas. And please tell some of the staffers to avoid a falsely high and unnecessary use of adjectives and run-downs in their future articles. Direct to the point.
4. The pictures looked grainy, except for the pics, some other significants, and the sports. The front page lacks the pictures’ appeal. The pics subsequently defeated the purpose of which is being intended.
So, there. It’s not hardline criticism, but just comments with the purpose of helping to improve the next edition. I’ll be dropping by some time to pick some things up (probably Monday), so probably we could discuss some finer points in private. And personally commenting in a good job.
Leisa’s first editorial shift is good. Recommendable.
The poem included on the paper is good, but the prayer… that’s the last straw.
…oh, you can read this… if you have the luck to reach my page, RV. Ma’am So has my link.
The Gundam SEED review:
Well, Phase 16 will be up by Monday, so we’ll give some tips and other tidbits to make things spicier for some watchers in ABS:
- On Phase 16, Mr. Bartfeldt made a mistake in underestimating Kira’s humanoid Strike in the desert. See why?
- Phase 16, Cagalli will appear again, in a shrewdy militia-in-the-desert outfit, along with her guardian Kisaka (the one with the arrows). She’ll get a heck of a surprise when she sees who’s the pilot of the mobile suit she saw in Phase 2.
- Phase 17 will showcase the devastating power of a person with the SEED mode (look at Kira’s eyes when he switches it on), but Bartfeldt sees Kira as a berserker, who’s excited when it comes to battle.
- Phase 20 is a break from the battle, as she and Kira goes on a date to the Tiger’s stronghold and eating Donel-kebab dishes. See Bartfeldt’s ligher side there, you’ll see he’s liberal.
- Phase 22 will see the REAL face of the bitch we call Fllay Alster.
- The later phases will reveal some intriguing facts, and a big idea conspiracy. Clue: Kira’s current parents are not his true parents. See any resemblance? Nah.
That’s it. No more items to add. Just watch the show and be mesmerized.
