BGM: [Sleep Now In The Fire] by Rage Against The Machine
Wow. After the big incident at the Auburn Hills Palace where Ron Artest and his Indiana Pukers and Ben Wallace of the Detroit Afros had a gig, NBA commisioner David Stern (his suurname really tells he’s STERN), announced this piece of info that you can see here.
NEW YORK, Nov. 21 — The following suspensions were announced today by NBA Commissioner David Stern, resulting from the events during the Indiana Pacers at Detroit Pistons game on Nov. 19.
- Pacers forward Ron Artest has been suspended for the remainder of the season.
- Indiana guard Stephen Jackson has been suspended for 30 games.
- Pacers forward Jermaine O’Neal has been suspended for 25 games.
- Indiana guard Anthony Johnson has been suspended for five games.
- Detroit forward/center Ben Wallace has been suspended for six games.
- Pistons forwards Elden Campbell and Derrick Coleman and guard Chauncey Billups have each been suspended for one game for leaving the bench during an on-court altercation.
- Indiana guard Reggie Miller has been suspended for one game for leaving the bench during an on-court altercation.
That really digged in. Ron Artest ended worse than having ACL injury. I watched that game. It’s sad that fans and the players resorted to baby-ish tendencies.
In the local league PBA, Barangay Ginebra, my favorite team, lost to my sister’s Alaska Aces. She tormented me in bed for my lost word that we will beat them handily. Schmuck me.
Myself was also disgusted (also Siot Tanquincen, BG coach) how Ginebra squandered a 23 point lead in the second half, and that’s it. It’s definitely not the coach’s fault.
The 5-game winning streak ended in a crash.
We had our Sepak Takraw class (1st) today. A shocker.
Mr. Porto, our class professor for that, castigated and verbally threw out two miscreants who were visibly gossiping right in front of him.
He was mild-mannered in the first hour. But when he saw these two guys, I think his pride was hurt. He felt extremely disrespected. He shouted five times to these guys and afterwards he wrote “dropped SPKM1” in his file folder.
He’s kind and understanding (he says he gives 2, as his lowest grade he’ll give) but when you spit right there in his face, expect a volcano to erupt.
Otherwise, his class went smoothly.
Did my blog just sounded like a sports blogger? Damn.
Here are the usual links to go down with 5 Oreos.
