Lemme see… I have not much to blog about my studies.
Heck, my notebook is getting heavier. Let’s see… in ICS, we are in NETWORKING.
The computer jabbles and jargons amused me a lot. They look like the little ridges on a toothed knife you use to slit your wrists with. In ICS, hurting yourself works. The more lessons, the more I like the subject.
*sigh* Wish DPS was a good computer-literate school back then. In Don Bosco, they already tackled Visual Basic, Java, C++, FORTRAN, CoBol, and other things like the numerical computer translations, in just 4 years. And Diliman? Spend one year in MS Word, then next, HTML one year (we make mediocre designs for petit assed teachers), then we repeat and slash ourselves again with the teacher’s direct procrastination to teach their students high-quality lessons other than how to make a table using HTML!
In a technical school:
TEACHER: “ok class, we will learn about hexadeciaml numbers. This is a base-16, radix-16 numerical system. We use the numbers 0, 1-9, A, B, C, D, E, and F. Now I’m going to draw the table for conversion…”
In DPS:
TEACHER: *picks nose with pinkie* “Ok, klass, (with a heavy accent), we are guin tu lern how tu meyk a tibol. Naw, how du we mek e tebol? Can yu dru it un di bord??”

*sigh* So much for wasted tuition in Computer Studies in DPS. Wish we had a refund.

I’m trying to find some anime CDs of the Gundam era in UC years, like the Zeon times and Char’s CounterAtack. Then, the Gundam seed.
I don’t care if it is English-subtitled.
