Right now I fear about my grades in my first prelims here in the oldest university in Asia, UST.
In Math I was disappointed in my grade “82” which just translates to a 2+ in the UST grade system.
In Filipino I feared the worst of all. I got 69.4 in my class standing (I imagined there a succubi laughing maniacally with a dildo in hand) and 70.5 in my prelims exam, which results in a very very low average of 70.1, which translates into a 2.5 point average. Hoot, if I got this in LaSalle I could have been the bootkick of the whole class.
The picture is: my grade is hovering, teetering dangerously on the brink of a shocking 3. I don’t want a 3. Neither a 5.
Tomorrow, we (all the class) will face the most terrible subject to please: PHYSICS.
Most of us just wrote zilch on the blank answer sheets, all of which is in danger of being cast into the eternal thought of academic probation.
And guess what, if you fail Physics in UST…automatically the university will put a helping of devil’s saliva on your gradesheet.
Bigoted grading system, heh.
I just try to be optimistical on my grades…because pessimism belongs to the dirt on the pointing finger of the Benavides Statue in UST’s front facade.
